Aswani Aswath
Aswani Aswath is a bilingual writer, theatre maker and a teaching artist. Through her works, she hopes to shed light on issues affecting marginalised communities and experiment with new ways of telling stories.

Sunny Ng
Mr Sunny Ng, illustrator and designer, is the author of ‘Retracing footsteps home... Chye Kay Village’ a graphic book that recollects the stories of his kampung, Chye Kay Village in the 1960/70s.

This project by Mr Sunny Ng led to a reunion of the Lee Cheng School alumni in 2015. With the contributions of stories and photographs from former villagers, the graphic book was published in 2018.

Indira Devi
Indira Devi is a healthcare worker who has lived in Yishun over sixty years. This podcast interview marks her foray into telling her own story.

Mr Liew
Mr Liew is the chairman of the Chye Kay Village Cheng Teak Association, headquartered in Block 101 in Chong Pang City.

Chan Kah Mei
Chan Kah Mei is a history enthusiast and former journalist who dabbled in documentaries: I Love Malaya (2006) and Lights Out (2009). In 2018, together with a few friends, she started collecting oral histories of the Orang Seletar living in Johor, Malaysia. It culminated in a short exhibition on the community, At the Water’s Edge. It was displayed at Drama Box’s play Tanah•Air æ°´•åœŸï¼šA Play In Two Parts in 2019 and at the National Library. She currently works in the civil service.
